Course Structure
You will be able to select dance as a single course option which comprises of internal and external assessments focused around the development of technical, performance and choreographic skills. You will also develop your academic skills in dance as you study professional works and practitioners and apply your findings to your own practical and written work.
Progression and career opportunities
Former students have progressed into degree level study at universities and prestigious conservatories such as Rambert and NSCD. This course could take you on to employment as a dancer, arts administrator, Education, Dance and Movement Psychotherapy.
Extra-curricular opportunities
The department run a series of extracurricular clubs, visits and residentials throughout the year. These are open to Performing Arts students and include trips to London’s West End, an annual visit to Disneyland Paris and a potential visit to New York.
