Design a fastest and most balanced robot that can cross the hurdles.
Students of Schools and Colleges both can participate in this event.
The robot must travel on the specified path provided in the arena.
This is a racing event, so the fastest and most balanced robot can win.
The robot should be as per the given specifications.
There can be a maximum of 2 members per team.
The dimension of the bot should be under 30*30*20 cm. However, we recommend to keep the distance as low as possible so that the robot can easily traverse the track.
The length of the wire (for wired bots) should be long enough to cover the whole track and the wire should remain slack during the complete run.
The robot control can be wired or wireless as per your choice.
Ready-made toys, cars, and Lego bots are not allowed
The robot can be powered by a battery or AC supply. However, only an AC supply source will be provided on-site.
The arena may be covered with the following irregularities:
SAND AND STONE
RUMBLE STRIPS
ELEVATION
DAMP AREA
WATER SPRINKLER
SMALL HOLES
SLACK BRIDGES
TURNS AND TWISTS
CONVEYER BELTS
SEE - SAW
PLASTER OF PARIS
WIRE MESH
The actual Arena shall be disclosed on the spot only.
The race will be conducted on timing criterion i.e. the team to complete the whole track in the minimum possible time will be the winner.
The race would start from a launch platform at the beginning of the track.
Only one robot will be on the track at a time.
During the course of the run if the robot fails to cross an obstacle the participant may skip that and the robot would be able to skip that obstacle. But this penalizes the participant with some time duration depending upon the level of the obstacle.
At no point during the run, your robot should come out of the racing track (due to poor control or being hit, etc) and if it happens, you will be put on the previously
Cleared the checkpoint and continued from that point. Organizers’ decisions in this regard (whether the robot has come out of the track or not?) would be final and binding to all the teams.
You can not touch your robot once you are in the track, but in case of any need one of the members of the organizing team can do so but the timer won’t be stopped.
There is no provision for timeout if your robot needs to be repaired while on the track.
You have to put one of your teammates to hold the wire in case of the wired robot.
The grading formula for the calculation of scores is as follows:
shall be updated soon.
The robot should strictly follow the specifications provided.
The use of chemicals which would affect the track is prohibited.
Participants found using unfair means to complete the track will be penalized either with time, penalty or disqualification.
Unethical behavior could lead to disqualification.
Faculty coordinators have all the rights to take decisions for any false conduct during the event.
The decision of the judges will be final and abiding. Arguments with judges in any form will lead to the disqualification of the team.
The participant with the maximum score shall be the winner of the competition.
The winner will be awarded. A certificate of excellence and a cash prize for the event. All other teams will be provided a certificate of participation.
