Mattress Fundraiser Shift SignupÂ
It's finally here! This weekend is a major performing arts mattress fundraiser, and it's an incredible opportunity to support all of our students' activities-from band and choir to theater and the Orlando trip.
If you've been thinking about upgrading your mattress, now is the perfect time! You'll find top-brand products-including mattresses, pillows, sheet sets, and even massage chairs-all at significant discounts, up to 50% off retail prices.
Students, we need your help to make this a success! Please sign up for a shift to spin signs and even wear one of our super-cool mattress costumes.
Thank you for getting involved. We hope this event is a positive one that helps support all of our students' favorite activities!
Get ready to make a huge impact on the cost of your student's Orlando trip! This email is for everyone who expressed interest in participating in the upcoming mattress fundraiser.
This is a fantastic opportunity to earn serious money for the trip—your student can earn around $125 for every mattress purchased in their name. And as an extra incentive, if a student gets 10 mattresses purchased, the company will give them an additional $500 gift card to use toward their trip or anything else!
On Sunday, September 21st, the Silver Creek High School commons will be transformed into a temporary mattress showroom. We'll have brand-name products from Sealy, Serta, Purple, and more, all at prices up to 50% off retail! They'll even have pillows, sheet sets, and massage chairs.
Your mission is simple: Become our sales team! Start talking to friends, family, coworkers, and neighbors. You never know who might be considering a new mattress or furnishing a guest room. Get the word out and help your student reach their goals!
Get a yard sign. Have your student grab a "chic" black and yellow sign to put in your yard.
Spread the word. Use the provided materials and links to reach out to people locally and even across the nation!
My hope is that many of you can get 5 to 10 people to purchase a mattress. This can cover a huge portion of the trip cost!
We are filled with gratitude for all the parents who have dedicated their time and effort to support our band. Your hard work makes an incredible difference, and we couldn't do this without you.
A special thanks to the following individuals for their amazing contributions:
Our SCOPA Board: Catherine Capparelli, Chris McMurtry, Julie Sigman, Julia Rush, and Lisa Bobby.
This year alone, our band has already received over $60,000 from SCOPA Bingo, which has been crucial for everything from equipment to tuition assistance.
Equipment Truck Drivers: Phong Vo and Nikita Dinh.
Senior Banner Creators: Becca Johnston and Jen Martin.
Uniform Coordinators: Shelly Olivier and Luz Kubetzko.
Band Bingo Managers: Julie Sigman, Vince Vigil, Chris McMurtry, and Kyle Blackburn.
Bingo Tech & Meal Coordinator: Paul Hartman for organizing meals at competitions, providing tech support, and stepping up at Bingo sessions when we need it most.
And finally, to the many parents who have volunteered at our Bingo sessions—thank you. Your support is invaluable and directly benefits every student in our program.
