Audition Information for the 2024-2025 Jazz Ensembles & Symphonic Band
Auditions for the 2024-2025 Symphonic Band, Vanguard Jazz Ensemble and Savoy Jazz Ensemble will need to be completed by January 12th 2024. Results will be released January 19th. You may Submit your audition via the Google Drive Folders below OR Email Mr. Legg. The audition window is currently open, anyone may begin the recording a submission process starting now.

This will serve as a High School Band assessment and your audition for next year's ensembles.

9th graders who wish to audition for a jazz band will ALSO need to schedule concert band
or symphonic band (audition required) as well, for their freshman year.

These are all the audition materials for the CLHJB and All State Jazz Band.
The only materials you need to prepare for Silver Creek Jazz Band are:
The first 16 bars of the etude for Horn players. Rhythm Section should play the entire Etude. You do not need to take the indicated tempo, we would like to hear a consistent tempo. You may take notes down an octave if that is also an issue, this is the same audition students will use for the High School Combined League Honor Jazz Band as well. There is also a
