The Altona Robotic Rattlers Club, known as 79298, is a competition-based extracurricular activity at Altona Middle School in Longmont, Colorado. The Robotic Rattlers is led by Mr. Joe Rovere, who also teaches Robotics and Engineering courses for 6th to 8th graders. The club has had a very sucessful 2024/2025 season!
Altona Middle School is a place where each individual student will create their own opportunities through Core, Enrichment, and Extracurricular achievement. Altona students are prepared to be leaders and obtain key 21st century skills such as self-reliance and academic competence so they are able to thrive in an increasingly complex world. St. Vrain Valley School District has been providing VEX competitive robotics experiences at the elementary, middle and high school levels since 2014.
