Reader Coach is a new feature within Immersive Reader that helps students develop their reading fluency. It is a tools that listens as a student reads aloud, then give feedback and practice opportunities.

How do I use Reader Coach?
Reader Coach is available in the web version of Microsoft Word.
To access Reader Coach, follow this pathway:
Classlink> Office 365> Open a Word Document
In your word document:
View> Immersive Reader > Reading Preferences (book icon)> toggle on reading Coach.

But we don't use Word!
Most students in our district don't use Word as their primary writing platform. That's ok! They don't need to start doing ALL of their writing in Word in order to utilize this tool. Instead, whenever you want them to use Reader Coach, do one of the following:
download a google doc as a word doc, and upload it to your One Drive.
copy/past the text into a word doc
