Come to class prepared.
You are required to have:
Pencils
Chromebook
Binder with Loose Leaf Paper (for chem courses)
Calculator (for chem courses)
Textbook & Composition Notebook (CHE141 only)
Extra Help Availability
It is normal to have many questions about things that relate to the course. Please feel free to contact me anytime via email. I am often available periods 1, 2, 4, or after school by appointment to meet with you in person for assistance as-needed.
In addition to the SVHS Student Handbook, please note the following expectations for this class:
No food or drink in class, other than water in a sealable container and that is not allowed in the lab area.
Restrooms should be used during passing periods. A pass and sign-out must be used to leave the room for any reason.
Chromebooks may only be used to access class learning platforms and activities, look up material relevant to this course, or input assignments into the device to use as a planner. Use requires teacher permission in advance.
Students who do not follow instructions or create dangerous situations will be asked to leave, will not be allowed to participate with the others for the duration of that activity and may forfeit points for the activity.
