In my makeup course, I developed a strong foundation in both beauty and SFX techniques while practicing professional hygiene standards for makeup products and tools. I learned to work with special effects materials such as liquid latex, fake blood, and prosthetic appliances, gaining hands-on experience in creating believable character looks. Throughout the class, I also created detailed makeup maps, performed research to support design choices, and practiced applying makeup on myself and on others. These skills helped me build confidence, precision, and a deeper understanding of makeup as both a craft and a creative storytelling tool.
