Hi! I'm Malin.

My name is Malin Sender, and I am a Theatre Arts major at Southern Utah University with a strong focus on Costume Design. I am pursuing an M.F.A in Costume Design to further develop my craft and deepen my artistic voice. My passion for theatre is rooted in my belief that design can reveal character, illuminate story, and create emotional resonance onstage.

Drawing inspiration from my time in both Southern Utah and Hamburg, Germany, I approach design with a cross-disciplinary perspective shaped by my background in fine arts, photography, and literature. At Southern Utah University, I have contributed to multiple productions, including Lisa Loomer’s Roe and Neil Simon’s Sweet Charity, which have strengthened my commitment to collaborative, story-driven design.

I aim to continue growing as an artist and a storyteller, creating evocative visual worlds that support and elevate the theatrical experience.
