Chapter Officer

There are about 15 members who apply for the chapter officer position.  To become one, you simply need to fill out an application and give a speech in front of our members in the spring.  7 positions will be determined later, and another virtual nomination for Sweetheart.

Sectional Officer

In the Sierra-Butte Section, there are 18 schools and 6 officer positions.  To become an officer, you must apply, go through an interview process, then perhaps be slated [1v1] for an office.  If slated, you would answer two impromptu questions in front of the section during the sectional meeting in the spring.

Regional Officer

Regional Officer works the same way as sections, but is more commpetitive.  There are six regions in our state and you must apply as a sophmore or juinor.  It is more demanding and time consuming but is an important office.

Other Opportunities

In FFA, there are numerous ways you can lead this organization without becoming an officer.  Just by applying, you can apply for the state delegate to represent our chapter at the state, regional, and sectional levels.  You can also apply for committee chairs, courtesy corps, national delegate, and much more.
