Career Development Events, or CDEs for short, are competitions based on agriculture career skills. Students and advisors form teams and practice in order to compete at various field days throughout the state. A State Finals competition is held for each contest, the winners of each move on to compete at the National FFA Convention in October! CDEs are also commonly referred to as "Judging" teams, as many of the contests involve judging something agriculturally related. These teams are focused on developing students' skills that can be transferred directly to an agriculture career.
