Sutter FFA is very thankful for how much the community supports us, and these events are the least we can do to demonstrate our appreciation.
Every year in the fall, we serve a breakfast where several members volunteer to help. Entry is a low-priced ticket for an all-you-can-eat breakfast cooked as a chapter in our school's cafeteria.
Before Halloween we invite the younger elementary students to our annual pumpkin patch and activities day at our school farm. Our members grow pumpkins out in our field before the event takes place. Over the course of two days, several members help serve hundreds of children in our community by leading hay rides, games, and much more.
Every year, the Yuba-Sutter Fairgrounds holds an event called Farm Day where organizations teach the younger youth of our area about agriculture. Sutter FFA is represented by the members on our leadership team, and we discuss how cattle make such an impact on our daily lives.
