We provide transportation from summer school to afternoon care options for your child - see below for options.
The City provides the Summer Playground Program and the YMCA provides wrap care at Great Lakes!
Your child will be transported from summer school to one of these options on Route 730
Please register your child on-site at the park of your choosing beginning on the first day of program.

SUMMER SCHOOL WRAP-AROUND CARE
If your child is enrolled in summer school, you might be wondering, 'What will they do the rest of the day?' We've got you covered! The Y will be providing Wrap-Around Care for Summer School students aged 5-12 this summer at Great Lakes Elementary School. If students are attending summer school at Cooper, they will be bussed to Great Lakes to finish their day. YMCA Staff will greet students and then lead them through an afternoon of fun activities such as group games, crafts, outdoor exploration, team building, swimming, free play on the playground, and more!
Wrap Care will begin as soon as summer school lets out and will go until 5:00 p.m. Monday through Thursday. We will head to the Y for swimming from 3:30-4:30 and pick-up will be from the Y.
REGISTRATION
Dates are June 23rd - July 17th, 2025. Rate for summer school wrap care is $106/week. Click on the links below to register.
CANCELLATION POLICY
A non-refundable deposit of $25 is due at the time of enrollment. If you need to cancel a week of care, any June cancellations need to be submitted before May 25th in order to receive a refund. Any July cancellations must be in by June 25th.
