5 - Activity Extensions

This site is great for learning how to mix beats for a backing track to music, and was used during our hip-hop unit in January. Recall back to when Pacal Bailey (DJ Pain 1) showed us how to clap on beats 2 and 4, and showed us how to use fractions to help us write music. There are 4 sections, and 16 squares in each cycle. One cycle is a measure, one section is a beat, one square is an eighth note. Hooray for music AND math! This free site allows you to download and save these files as well.
