and possibly share lessons and/or tips for teaching/learning reading and math concepts.

This is a website of 1,000's of resources created by teachers! But, that doesn't mean that only teachers may become members. Anyone can create an account by coming up with a username and password, and the resources become available for your perusal. Yes, there are lots and lots of options to purchase, but I usually go to the Search bar and search for "Free ____________." When I find something I like, I just have to Download it, and then I can print it off and use it with my students.

My Busy Kid--Playful Learning Activities for Kids
This link takes you to the site of a mom of 2 children. She has a great variety of activities, games, and printables that are particularly geared for early elementary aged students. These are divided into 3 categories...reading, math, and pre-writing. Some of the activities could potentially be adjusted to also meet the needs of 2nd/3rd graders. The games/activities use basic materials found at home.
