Shaye Hoff
Shaye is the daughter of Tina and Jay Hoff. Shaye enjoys gymnastics, working out, playing volleyball, working in the athletic training program, reading the bible, photography, and playing her violin. She is in the youth group at Bethesda and attends church at St. Anne’s St. Jude Catholic Church. She currently works a part-time job at the YMCA gymnastics center where she provides students with valuable life lessons as well as teaching them gymnastics. Shaye is currently a captain in the athletic training program at Sumter High School where she enjoys providing guidance and treatment to athletes who get injured during games. She is also an active member of the Starfish Club where she works to provide other students with kindness around the school. Shaye enjoys giving back to the community by sewing quilts for retirement homes, walking in parades as a competition cheerleader, and participating in the turkey trot at the YMCA. After graduation, she plans to attend Clemson University to ultimately get her doctorate degree in physical therapy and work as a sports physical therapist. Her mission is to help people heal their injuries as fast as possible while making a personal connection with each athlete.
Charya Hardy
Charya is the daughter of Cheria Rush, Cedric Hardy, and Johnnie Rush. She enjoys dancing, painting, doing nails and lashes, dressing up, taking photos, shopping and going to church where she praise dances. Charya loves designing outfits and showing them off. She uses this talent of hers to express herself. At Sumter High she is in the AVID program, Student Government Association, Future Business Leaders of America, the starfish club and a dual enrollment student at central carolina. She is currently training to be a volunteer firefighter. Charaya participates in community service projects with her church Jehovah Baptist Church as well as praise dancing and participating in events around Sumter High School with the AVID program. After graduation, she plans to join the airforce to become a firefighter so she can pursue her passion in helping others and then attend the University of South Carolina for four years to get her bachelor's degree in business administration to eventually start her own business.
Celena Dawson
Celena is the daughter of Courtney Webb and Cedric Dawson. She has a passion for baking where she loves to use her creativity to make treats that bring joy to others. Crocheting is another favorite hobby of Celenas where she believes it is fullinging to create handmade items that hold meaning. Celena is currently captain of the Sumter High Varsity Cheerleading team, where she inspires her teammates and represents her school with pride. She is also a member of the Honors orchestra. As a participant in the Sumter High School International Baccalaureate Program, she embraces academics while developing a global perspective. Additionally, she is a proud member of the track and field team, Junior Civitan, Student Government Association, and National Honors Society. Celena gives back to the community and actively participates in monthly litter cleanup projects and contributes at least 18 hours of community service each month. She also helped organize the walk against domestic violence. After graduation, Celena plans to attend Howard University. Celena is inspired to earn her master's degree and eventually attend medical school, with the goal of becoming a pediatric psychiatrist. Celenas mission is to provide mental health support to children and their families so she can make a lasting and meaningful impact.
Kaylee Witherspooon
Kaylee is the daughter of Jeffery and Joanne Witherspoon. She enjoys swimming, origami, camping with her family, riding dirt bikes and four wheelers, shopping, playing the piano, cheerleading and tumbling. Kaylee is in all honors classes, a second-year varsity cheerleader and an active member in the starfish club. She participated in REACH, a summer gifted and talented program for five years and is a Former ProTeam member. Kaylee loves working in her community. She is in her 9th year of Girl Scouts and has over 75 hours of community service through her troop. She reads to elementary students, has performed in numerous Sumter Little Theater productions where she has also volunteered with Youth classes. She is an annual participant of Wreath Across America, Operation Shoebox, Toys for Tots and the Heart Walk. She recently had the honor of receiving a helping hands award for collecting donations for a Uganda Ministry. Kaylee’s favorite Bible verse is John 14:27, "Do not let your heart be troubled, nor let it be fearful." During High School she plans to obtain her Cosmetology license at the Sumter County Career Center. After Graduation she will attend college for business and marketing and hopes to one day operate her own salon.
Lesley Jamison
Lesley is the daughter of Amy and Brian Jamison. She enjoys dancing and is involved in various extracurricular activities including company, crew, and the rising stars team at Miss. Libbys. Lesley loves writing letters to her brother and sister who are stationed overseas in the Army. She also enjoys when all four of her older siblings are home for the holidays or when she gets to visit the countries they live in. Lesley has a strong passion for embroidery because it allows her to make gifts for her loved ones. She is also an active member in the student government association, key club, and starfish club at Sumter High School. She dedicates her time to community service, working with her church’s youth group to provide support to the homeless, Christmas caroling at the nursing homes, and diaper donations to new mothers who are in need. After graduation, Lesley plans to go to college and study forensics and paleontology.
