Strength training, or resistance training, works your muscles by providing some form of active resistance your body must overcome. It is typically done using one's own body weight, resistance bands, or weights/weight machines.
Aerobic activity is exercise that gets your heart pumping faster. Therefore, strength-aerobic activity works both the cardiovascular system and our muscles at the same time - a great way to get your daily activity in all at once!
