Week Six April 27 to May 1, 2020

llello families,

PLEASE READ - NEW INFORMATION

I am trying out putting all the assignments for the week on a weekly page instead of by subjects. Please let me know what you think. If it works, I will go back and make weekly pages for the past weeks but decided to try it out for this week first. Some sites have days of the week and specific assignments for those days. I have decided, based on feedback, that I will just post the week's assignments so you can do them when you can. Unless other wise noted, all assignments will be Monday to Monday. I will post them on Monday and they are due beginning of the day the next Monday. I want you to have the weekends in case you need them.

On Mondays please check in at Ms. Nobbs site for library https://sites.google.com/stvs.us/library/

On Wednesdays or Thursdays please check in at Mrs. McCarl's site for music https://sites.google.com/stvs.us/music/

On Wednesdays or Fridays please check in at Mrs. Taylor's site for PE https://sites.google.com/stvs.us/physicaleducation/home

If you see Mrs. Schuler please check her site weekly https://sites.google.com/stvs.us/reading/

Mr. Rice has some sites that students can work on typing and mouse skills. Please visit https://www.stvs.us/comp.cfm

READING: Please do the weekly book report and upload. We are going to be starting using our reading text. I will upload the story and at this Wednesday's pickup the reading text will be sent home. Please read it to your child once, have them read it to you once and read it a third time. After the third reading, there will be a set of questions to be answered about the story. Please have your child complete the questions without the book. Then upload the questions. The first two stories have sets of questions already printed that will come home with the book. Book report is due 5/1 and the story questions are due 5/8. The story for this week is The Pine Creek Mystery.

Please contact me if your student does not have the reading textbook. I am attaching a you tube video of a teacher reading it. I forgot how long it was and am figuring out what to do for those that do not have a book.
