Next Meeting: TBD
NHS is a top-level club, so we have high expectations!
Attendance is MANDATORY at all club meetings.
If you can't make it, you MUST communicate your absence to an officer or an advisor.
We DO NOT have unexcused absences. If you miss more than 3 meetings, you will be placed on probation.
YOU are responsible for your own hours sheet and keep track of the hours. You should constantly be tracking your progress by taking photos (in case it's lost).
Hours collected can NOT be used for more than one club. No "Double Dipping".
Be consistently checking your email, Remind, and this site for important information.
This section is dedicated to probation. We do not want to place anybody on probation, but it works as follows:
You can only go on probation ONCE, and after that, you're done. You can go on probation in three different ways:
GPA requirements: If your GPA drops below 3.75, you are put on probation, and have a semester to get it back to 3.75
Hours: If you fail to complete your required hours by the deadline, you are put on probation. Then you owe how many hours you missed the requirement by, in addition to 2 hours extra hours as a consequence.
Behavior: If a member breaks any Wake County policies, or has disciplinary issues, probation or worse is to be expected.
Most probation cases usually involve hours, and our goal this year is to not have ANY members be put on probation. Make sure you don't take the risk by constantly getting those hours in!
All questions, issues, etc. regarding probation should brought up to the Advisors, Mr. Buffkin and Mrs. Romanoski
