Noblesse Oblige
The National Honor Society is a nationwide prestige organization for high school students in the United States which consists of many chapters in high schools. Selection is based on four criteria: scholarship, leadership, service, and character. Upon acceptance of membership, inducted members are expected to now be role models for the school, and commit themselves to the organization.
The National Honor Society (NHS) is one of the largest, most important, and most influential clubs here at Rolesville! We do activities ranging from trash pick-ups to community-building events. You see us at all events always offering helping hands, and getting what needs to be done! We don't just assist at Rolesville High, though. You'll see us in Wake Forest and Raleigh, too! We're wherever somebody needs assistance.
The National Honors Society's four main pillars are the following;
Character: The force within an individual which distinguishes that person from others
Service: Willingness to work without monetary compensation or recognition
Leadership: The willingness to yield to one's personal interests for the interest of others
Scholarship: A commitment to learning, and academic success.
Our mission this year is to expand NHS's influence and impact throughout Rolesville High, and the local community! We also want to improve our community and install lasting change. We want to make sure when people think of "service", they think of NHS.
