Conservation 

The great thing is that some organizations are already helping this heavily endangered species. For example, www.wwf.org.uk tells us that you can donate money to a website of its own called support.wwf.org.uk so that the organization can help the gorillas. Another organization of this kind called the African Great Ape Programme is protecting the habitat of the gorilla, stopping illegal poaching & trade and increasing gorilla conservation.(www.wwf.panda.org) “We share our DNA with the gorillas, but we share our planet with them as well—and our efforts to save this endangered species will ultimately help us save ourselves.”(www.gorillafund.org) So saving gorillas can save the world. How would you feel if these important primates just disappeared? Isn’t that sad ?

Although it is very sad that gorillas are disappearing, there are many ways you can help!!!!!!!!!!The website www.zooknoxville.org tells us, “Recycle your electronic devices!” This website also tells us that recycling electronics reduces pollution from the making of new electronics because they reuse the recycled metal and electronics causing the environment to be saved. Another way you could help is by looking for the FSC logo on products you buy. (www.lpzoo.org) According to that same website, if you buy products with this logo, you are buying eco-friendly products which reduce pollution. If we all make a tiny change, the world can become a better place for mountain gorillas!
