Biography:
Major (Retired) Jason Esquell joined Lake View JROTC in August 2018. A native of Harper, Texas, he graduated from Angelo State University in 1998 with a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science, and received his officer commission from Air Force ROTC Detachment 847. His 20-year career with the Air Force included assignments in North Dakota, Colorado, California and Wisconsin where he gained valuable experience leading and educating Airmen as well as operating multi-billion dollar weapon systems and managing programs in the space operations & nuclear missile operations career fields. He earned Master of Science degree in Space Studies from American Military University in 2011. He is a certified AETC instructor and has attended Squadron Officer School in-residence, and Air Command & Staff Course by correspondence. He deployed to Camp As Sayliyah, Qatar with the U.S. Central Command Joint Security Office (2007); Kabul, Afghanistan (2012) with the ISAF [International Security Assistance Force] Joint Command Intra-theater Airlift Section; and MacDill Air Force Base (2014) with the U.S. Central Command Special Access Programs Division. He and his wife, Stephanie, enjoy training their two Belgian Malinois, Fury and Fuli, in K-9 protection sports.

Biography:
TSgt Jason Siverling retired as an Air Transportation Craftsman from the 437th Aerial Port Squadron, Joint Base Charleston, South Carolina. His responsibilities included directing the processing, handling, and loading of all Department of Defense cargo and passengers across the globe.
TSgt Siverling hails from Wichita Falls Texas and graduated from John R. Hirschi High School in 2005 where he completed four years in the Army JROTC program. He enlisted in the US Air Force in July 2005 and after basic and technical training, reported to the 435th Logistics Readiness Squadron, where he conducted parachute packing and rigged training platforms to enable aircrew training. In October 2007, TSgt Siverling transferred to the 436th Aerial Port Squadron, where he thrived as a Ramp Services Supervisor. He oversaw and directed the loading of military cargo aircraft destined to support the Global War on Terrorism. In December 2012, He was hand selected to work at the USAF Expeditionary Center where he earned his Master Instructor Certification as he trained Airmen to load and off load cargo airplanes and instructed various logistics and management related course material. In 2016, TSgt Siverling transferred to his final assignment at the 437th Aerial Port Squadron and worked at the Air Terminal Operations Center, the Air Transportation Standardization and Evaluation Team, Cargo Processing & Special Handling Section Chiefs, and finally served as the Unit’s Deployment Manager.
During his 20 year military career, TSgt Siverling toured the world, explored four Continents and deployed to Kandahar Air Base Afghanistan (2007), Al Udeid Air Base Qatar (2009, 2012, & 2022), and the Air Mobility Division at Shaw Air Force Base, South Carolina (2019).
TSgt Siverling’s wife, Charlie, also hails from Wichita Falls and they were married in March 2010. They have two daughters, Alyssa & Kaylee. His hobbies include woodworking, 3D printing and design, and is an avid Star Wars fan and follower.
