the main idea that guided my artwork is that I love being on the ocean and sailing with my friends in the summer time so I put it on a tile for art.

Researched size of paper to the picture of me was using. Had to make measurements because the actual photo was smaller. Had to be able to zoom to a bigger paper. I started working on corners and then worked into the middle of the drawing. I found it easier to do this. Then I started painting the tree to the clouds I experimented with painting parts that didn't feel right at all. They were too dark or too light, so it just looked like paint spots. Instead, I erased it. I changed it to different lights and darks with the paint.
