Pure Contour

Artist Statement: 

Graphite pencil on drawing paper and my shoes

9" x 12"

The goal behind this was to be able to make a drawing from looking at something AKA pure contour. 

We first made a drawing of us holding a rubber band in our hand. After we made those quick drawings we took off our shoes and sketched them out on pieces of paper. After we ade our sketches we add a darker line to finalize our drawings.
