"Colorful Thoughts"

The idea behind this drawing was to make  a weird mess with a sharpie and turn it to a piece of art. The materials I used was a mechanical pencil, sharpie, oil pastels, bristol board, and the internet.

I started the project by following the steps the teacher told us to do, after we completed those steps I brainstormed some ideas that I could draw on my paper.  I then came up with the idea of a skull since I noticed the paper had a skull shape to it. I then look up  the anatomy of a skull and sketched it on the paper. after I got it to look how I wanted I then traced a sharpie over the sketch. I then started using oil pastels on the paper and add more life an color to the drawing.
