In this project we were tasked with creating a project using one of these six methods
Teach & Learn: Find out what produce grows near you.
Grow Your Own: Grow vegetables, fruits, and herbs in your own garden.
Create Community: Support local farmers and gardens
Change the Menu: Request organic or environmentally friendlier foods
Shop Wisely: Certified organic and fair-trade foods, local foods
Take a Stand: Join activists for health, food, and the environment
My group wanted to spread awareness on the importance of healthy eating habits and practicing ways of helping the environment. So we chose the teach and learn method along with shopping wisely. My group chose to create an instagram page. we decided to create an instagram page because in a society where social media is so present in our daily lives we thought this would be one of the best ways to spread information.

Growth: farms grow produce, tending to soil and crops
Harvesting: Farmers gather the ripe produce.
Packing: the produce is placed into containers to be shipped
Transportation/distribution: Workers transport the goods via vans or trucks to stores, farmers markets, and restaurants.
Retail: Stores, restaurants, and farmers sell the produce to consumers.
Consumption: consumers purchase and eat the food.
compost: Communities collect scraps and put them in compost to make new soil.
Macromolecules- are the building blocks for survival and without them we could not. there a four types of macromolecules proteins, lipids, carbs, and nucleic acid. each type has a different function important for keeping ours alive.

Reflection
During this project I think I really took a leadership role in my group. I helped my group stay on task and make sure that we got our work done. some of my group mates got off task easily and i made sure to assign them taked that keep them on track. I think that we executed this project well but we could of advertised and got more people to follow the account if we had more time. in closing i think that this project went well.
