Climate Change Art Installation Final  

For our project, my team and I created a video exploring the environmental impacts of extreme climate conditions on physical and biological systems over the next 100 years. The prompt was to create a timeline of our lives, so we imagined how the Earth and our lives would evolve if current unsustainable practices persist. We divided the video into four sections, each representing 25-year intervals: the state of the Earth in 25, 50, 75, and 100 years, and how those changes would affect daily life. Our goal was to highlight the urgency of addressing climate change to protect future generations. To bring our vision to life, we began by researching potential climate scenarios and their impacts. Using this research, we crafted a script/Storyboard, recorded our narration, and curated visual clips to accompany the information. After editing the visuals, audio, and music into a cohesive compilation, we decided to supplement our video with a slideshow presentation to showcase additional findings not fully emphasized in the video. This project allowed us to communicate the importance of taking immediate action to mitigate environmental damage and envision a more sustainable future.
