Hyundai reached out and asked us to come up with a vehicle that could safely and efficiently take two passengers (two roles of pennies) five meters. Our car was three wheeled car that was powered by rubber bands winding uyo the axle.

Calculations
Spring Potential Energy - this his how much energy the spring that powered or car had stored up before we released it. Are car had a potential energy of 0.6 joules.
Gravitational Potential Energy - This is how much energy something that is going down will have stored up.
Kinetic Energy - the amount of energy the car has as it moving. Our car had a max KE of 0.5 joules.
Total Energy - this is the amount of energy total that the car had. Our car had a total energy of 0.6 joules.
of Thermal Energy - the amount of heat energy the car generates. Our car generated 0.6 joules of heat energy.
Distance vs. Time - this refers to ho far the car went over what period of time. Our car went 5 meters in 4.25 seconds.
Velocity vs. Time - this refers to how fast the car went over a period of time. Our car had an max velocity of 2 m/s.
Reflection
Over the course of this project I was a leader in the group. I told everyone what needed to be done, and I did my part of the work. I was successful in coming up with a very efficient and sleek design for our car and it turned out great. It went 5 meters almost every time. Something that I could of done better would be holding my group more accountable for not doing their share of the project. I should have pushed them more to stay on task instead of talking. I also want to stop procrastinating when having to do equations, and instead just get them done.
