Alternative Energy Vehicle

We were tasked with making a vehicle that can travel five meters, and able to transport two rolls of pennies. We choose to do the rubber bands because it seemed the simplest, easiest and cheapest to make.

We changed our design many times, like we changed 3 wheels to 4 wheels and we kept shrinking the base. We also added a large wooden pole at the front to stretch the rubber bands. Finally we added the pennies in the back so the weight was even on both sides.

Overall the project went alright, at times I did feel like I was doing the project by my self, but it in all it still got completed. Also, I learn friction played a crucial part and how far your car will go, like it's bad to have a lot of it on your axle and body but good when you want the wheel to stay on the ground. Ultimately I do wish I would of done some stuff diffidently, like longer base or maybe using pipes to hold our axle.
