Rube Goldberg Machine The definition of a Rube Goldberg Machine is a complex machine that completes a simple task. A Rube Goldberg Machine uses simple machines like a screw, incline plane/ramp, a lever, and many others. A Rube Goldberg Machine can range from 2 steps to as many as you want. The goal is to accomplish a simple task like wiping a plate or kicking a field goal.
My Rube Goldberg Machine
My group and I created an 11 step Rube Goldberg Machine we a theme of mini golf. We used 5 simple machine which were a screw, incline plane, lever, wedge, and pulleys. Our simple task was to make a putt. Our projected included many calculations and it included 4 energy transfers.
