I'm super excited to announce that this November’s Fashionista of the Month is none other than my very good friend, the Paris Hilton of NHS, Evelyn Wright!
Ev is the best Brit I know and has the most amazing fashion sense. She’s often spotted rocking some butterfly clips and a pleated skirt, looking her best every single day. Her interview was exciting and filled with excellent fashion tips! Here’s some insight into her greatest fashion secrets:
What are your favorite places to shop?
My favorite places to shop are probably Hot Topic or Garage. I really like Garage because I find that they have a lot of unique things that you can’t find in other shops, and they have sales as well.

Yes, that is the right answer. That is the only right answer. What is your favorite current fashion trend?
Ooh, I like baggy jeans right now. They’re very trendy. Also, Doc Martens. They’re back!
Chunky rings: yes or no?
Yes. Of course, why not?
Who is your favorite fashionista/fashion inspo, if you have one?
I have a lot. Like, I can’t really say a specific one, because there are so many of them. Anything I see online that I think is cool I’ll like it. I go on Tik Tok and I watch people doing Tik Toks and I’ll be like, “Oh, they have cool style, I might try and replicate that,” you know? And the same thing with Instagram, or other websites. I really like Billie Eilish’s style, I think she’s really really cool with the baggy clothes, because I’m a big fan of street-style clothing, so I really like baggy jackets, puffed jackets, chunky shoes, baggy jeans. But my style varies, so I don’t really have a specific inspo.
Is there a specific way your closet is arranged?
No. It’s very… not arranged or organized in a specific way. I just have random things everywhere. I do like to have all my hoodies together, though, but everything else is just like, all around.
I respect that. Do you have an outfit picking system?
I do like to do different challenges, where I try to pick outfits based on songs, or what celebrities might wear. I usually like to pick my outfits the day before I go to school or do anything. I also try to style myself according to the weather, because I don’t want to be either freezing or too hot, but that’s all I do.
Do you have a favorite type of clothing to style?
Not really. I don’t know if shoes are considered a clothing item, but I do love shoes a lot.
What are your favorite colors/patterns to wear?
I really like lilac and light blue. Patel colors in general are just like my favorite thing ever. Stripes are okay, definitely stripes over polka dots all the way. I like checkered patterns as well, especially on skirts. I’m actually wearing that right now.
These last two questions have nothing to do with fashion at all, but what is your favorite holiday?
Halloween. I feel like that’s the one day you can cosplay and no one can judge you for it, so I love it.

Exactly.
And the last question: if you were a vegetable, what would you be?
An onion! Onions are the best. As Shrek said, “Ogres are like onions. Onions have layers.”
