Nick Petronio became a household name for NHS Boy’s Basketball during his freshman campaign, known for his stylish takes to the hoop and consistency from beyond the arc. Throughout his sophomore campaign, the guard has continued to deliver, and has played a major role in his team’s 5-0 record. Despite unfortunate COVID-related quarantines and setbacks for the boy’s basketball team, Petronio has shined as a leader on the court and earned our coveted title of February’s Athlete of the Month. As is typical for our Athletes of the Month, we’ve asked Nick to fill out a variety of questions, both relevant and irrelevant to basketball, so that Needham students can get a look into the likes and dislikes of one of our Rockets.

What is your pet peeve?  Talking with food in your mouth

What is your favorite burrito place? Chipotle

What is the worst food you’ve ever eaten? Zombie apocalypse

Side note: we at The Hilltopper are very intrigued by this response… What does it mean? Please reach out with any relevant information.

How long have you been playing basketball? Since I around 3 years old

How has playing basketball helped you? It has helped me have something to work for and meet new people.
