I have been in French emersion since kindergarten. After fufilling my two years of language for graduation, I participated in a third year of french which counts for 1 credit towards my endorsement.
Epidemiology (.5)- T3 Junior
I took epidemiology in my junior year as a science elective. This elective was very interesting to take since I was able to take it after covid when there was a lot of imformation available about the virus. It was cool to learn about how epidemiologists all over the world approached controlling the spread of Covid-19 differently.
Senior Year
AP Enviormental Science (1.5)
I just finished APES last term. I think this was a great class to take because it was a balance of indoor labs, outdoor labs, projects and individual notes and research. Some of my favorite labs I did in this class was when we measured air pollution from our own cars and how soil permability affects water quality and crops.
Honnors Marine Biology (1)
I am currently taking Marine bio and find it to be very interesting. In my tank I currently have a Yellow Goby, Blue Damsal Fish, Pepermint Shrimp, Hermit Crabs and snails. In this class we learn about the tanks themselves and how to measure different chemicals in the water and create a safe enviorment. In Marine Bio we also create 3D digrams of Ocean Properties as well as conduct reaserch about water quality, plate techtonics, earth history and much more!
Public Art (.5)
I am currently taking public art and working on two projects. One is a celling tile in Ms. Frosts room and the other is a locker outside the art hallway. Public art has been about leaving your mark on the school and creating a sense of community.
