From this, I have concluded that in order to be successful as a teacher, you must be passionate about and enjoy what you do, have good people skills (listening, approachability, friendliness, confidence), be interested in learning about their students and finding connections with them and be able to develop these skills over time by experimenting new approaches, trying new things and updating their curriculum.
For a midterm presentation, I chose to research the Reggio Emilia approach to early childhood education. I took my research in this direction because since I am interested in teaching in early childhood education, I am investigating different approaches to see how I want to teach this age group.
