My classroom management plan explains how my teaching philosophy would play out into my real-life classroom. It covers routines, rules and consequences, as well as how I will choose to make my students feel happy and safe when they enter my classroom, such as representation, SEL tools and family involvement.
Equitable practices are a very large part of my teaching philosophy. I hope to implement equitable practices by establishing clear and consistent rules regarding students treating each other with dignity and respect, creating an inclusive and safe classroom community, and modeling kind behavior myself. I will also foster a classroom community through consistent communication with families through multiple modalities. I will ensure that every student is treated with respect, dignity and equity in my classroom.
