Hi, scroll down for a timeline of my life.
I'm was born and raised in the Bay Area. I won a lottery to be in a Spanish Immersion elementary program where classes until 3rd grade were only taught in Spanish. Between the 3rd grade and 5th grade, my classed learned English and took passed an English language standardized test with perfect scored by age 10. I was immersed in the Swiss culture as my parents passed down traditions and the beautiful French language. I graduated from Palo Alto High School in 2016.
In 2011, at age 13 I moved to my parent's origin, Neuchâtel, Switzerland for two years during 8th and 9th Grade. Here I explored my roots and my love for food, outdoors which formed a majority of my identity. I spent a lot of time exploring the nearby cities and countries including France, Germany, Italy and Spain. I attended St. Georges British School in Neuchâtel and then to the International School of Berne.
Now, I am a graduate student studying occupational therapy in the 4+1 program at Dominican University of California. In May of 2020 I graduated with my Bachelors of Science in Health Science and double minor in Psychology and Spanish. In addition to my advance course work, I am an active participate on the Dominican campus as an Admission Ambassador, radio host for The Wellness Zone, creating a Zen Zone with the Student Health Center Committee and as a volunteer for the Institute of Leadership Studies Lecture Series, volunteered at RotaCare in San Rafael, attended Leadershape, Co-President of Dominican's Student Occupational Therapy Association for the calendar year of 2019, Co-Assembly Student Delegate in Spring of 2020. I anticipate graduating with a Masters in Occupational Therapy in May of 2021.
In my free time I love to explore the outdoors, travel and spend time with loved ones. I love going on hikes, camping, taking a trip to a cute cafe and discovering new countries (or states). Some of my most memorable trips were to Switzerland, Iceland (both summer and winter), New Zealand, French Polynesia, Mexico, and Canada.
