Students gain skills to become global citizens who act within diverse contexts.
Students practice:
Being a Dominican Student Ambassador lead me to various leadership opportunities including conducting weekly tours, event planning, and collaborating with counselors and peers.
Being a Volunteer for the Institute of Leadership Studies Lecture Series refined my management skills, event planning and collaboration with peers.
Spring of 2018, I was chosen to be the star of our All in for Dominican Video. Enjoy the clip!
In addition to my study abroad experience in high school, in college I have housed international students and assisted them to adapt well to the United States. I've organized trips around California and brought them home during vacation to explore my hometown.
This rewarding experience creates a boundless attitude and a hunger to explore and see the world.
Summer of 2018, I completed the 10th Leadershape Institue at Dominican University of California. This is a video made on the institute.
