This is my raku bowl, I had a lot of fun making this bowl. I tried making it as even as possible. The base is not visible in this picture but I'm most happy with how it turned out. For the colors I had intended it to be a mix of blue and white. it ended up turning green for some reason but I think it still turned out good. Overall I'm pretty happy with the finished product.
This is my clay plate, this particular project was a pain for me. I started by sculpting the plate, then added the three layers of paint and began sculpting. The next day I came in it had a large crack in it running all the way down the plate. I had to start over which really irritated me. After I got back to where I was I finished carving the design and put the layer of clear glaze on it. I'm happy with how it turned out but not with the process.Â
This is my impressive box this project made me go though a roller coaster of emotions. I was pretty happy when I first started out it was looking good. But as I continued making the box it became deformed, making it unsymmetrical. This caused me to lose motivation to make it look good. When we deciding on the impressions we wanted to make I made a really bad one and alomst fired it. Then I thought to myself that I could do better and made the current design. Once it came out of the kiln we glazed them and fired the boxes on last time. Im pretty happy with how it turned out.
