Preflection paragraph: For our next project, we are drawing a picture of an orphan and then mailing it to them so they can enjoy it. I am looking forward to starting this project and seeing the reactions of the kids.

I enjoyed getting to try each drawing of pencil, colored pencil, and oil pastels.  I like pencil because I feel it is easy to get detailed with it. I like colored pencil because it is fun to get all the colors on it. I like oil pastel because it looks real and is fun to do. I learned how to look for every little shade and color that he has on his face to make it look like him. I am choosing pencil for this project because I think I am the best at it out of the three options.

I had a lot of fun making the final product. The whole process was fun and relaxing to sit down and be able to draw him. I am really happy with how it turned out. I think it looks like him so that was the goal and I think it was achieved. My favorite part of the process was drawing the eyes because they bring it to life and make it look way better. I didn't have a least favorite part because I enjoyed doing all of it a lot.

I hope that he really likes the drawing and think it looks like him. I hope that he realizes I worked hard on it so he likes it even more. If I could say anything to him I would say that I am praying for him and hope he is having fun in his life right now.
