I really enjoyed this project. I liked it and learned some things that I didn't know. For example, I learned how to cut the foam and the mixture to make the glue to the newspaper would stick. This project is meaningful because it has the things that I like to due and my favorite color. I can look at it and remember what I liked in 10th grade. The goal in this project was to look like me and people can recognize that. I think I achieved that because I used my initials and favorite things. My favorite thing about this project was constructing it with the foam and paper, putting it together. My least favorite thing it how the edges are a little bumpy because it was curved it was hard to get the newspaper evenly without bumps. I had a lot of fun with this and glad how it turned out.

Foam Carving

I learned many things from this project. I learned how to carve the foam object to look like a turtle with the tools and the sand paper. I learned how to saw the part out that I needed. This piece took me a long time but in the end I liked carving it out. I wish I chose something a little bit easier to do so I could achieve my goal of tricking the eye. The best part was carving the details and making the shape look real. The hardest part was painting it. This will influence my future artworks by picking something in my level to create. Overall, I enjoyed this project.

I learned a lot of fun, new things from this project. I learned how to do pottery on the wheel for the first time ever and I have to say I really enjoyed it. I thought that it would be hard at first but then after the first day I got the hang of it I think. I learned how to operate the wheel and work with the clay to make a mug and a bowl. I also learned the type of paint to paint them had cool designs that were abstract and I really liked them. My favorite part of the project was trying to make a creative shape. I didn't have a least favorite part because I loved all of it. I would not change anything about it. All in all, this was a very enjoyable project and I hope to do some more pottery in the future.

This raku vase was a great project for me. I loved to do it and I learned new things as well. I learned how to construct the pot and make it smooth. I also learned how to make fun designs in it. I really like how it turned out. My favorite part was carving the designs and seeing it all come together. My least favorite part was when the clay got hard after a while which made it harder to smooth out. But, I really liked to do it and learned new skills also.
