3D Art

I enjoyed this project because it taught me how quickly come up with something to do because the original plan is not working. I had to re-arrange my plan like so many times because the original plan was not going as planned and then i would be discouraged because my vision was not what I wanted it to be like. It did not turn out how I wanted because I feel like the colors do not match and boring but I learned a lot from this project.

This project was really hard to get symmetrical and a frustrating project that did not come out the way that I wanted. I learned a lot of the background of this Raku Vase but it was a project that I do not feel necessary proud of but I did find it therapeutic. Despite, me rushing towards the end near finals because of the crunch on time but it was necessary to get it done.

We did the wheel pots and we had to learn the techniques on how to master the art of centering and shaping. It taught me how to keep going even when you have sores on your hands. It also reminded me of God and how he crafts us into the clay pots from the clay molds that we are. I enjoyed this project because sitting on the wheel and trying to mold into cups, pots, and mugs was super fun and I am happy with the final products.

This personal logo project was the best project I have done so far and was the most fun to think of because you reflected on what makes you distinct. I did the angel wings to represent my first name and the castle to represent my last name. The windows are little things that I think are trinkets of who I represent and what I like. Overall, this project was fun and challenging because you have to think of who you are and put it as a symbol in a creative never seen before type of way.

The lamp project was definitely my least favorite because of the lack of restrict we had. The lamp had no rules on what it needed to look like and so we had to create something that has never been seen before so I was definitely having a hard time with and did not enjoy it. However, it did push me out of my comfort zone which is necessary but it did not turn out the way i wanted to.

The foam project was super fun. I did not figure out how to draw pepper on the egg because I ran out of time so it is definitely too simple but it was a fun and satisfying project and I had a lot of errors when shaping it. Overall, it was therapeutic shaving off the foam into the shape of an egg.
