Within my new found experience of 3D Modeling & Animation this year I have learned many things which I shall be telling. When I first chose to take this class it was to learn how to animate and make my own models since I had prior experience to coding and learning how to make my own models would give me many more components to add to my repertoire. When I had first started this class I had small challenges of trying to figure out how to manipulate objects within my scene. I began to overcome the simple small challenges easier and easier until I had learned how to manipulate everyting within my scenes. 

     With the year progressing more components were added for us to learn how to do I learned how to make my own textures which I caught on to quickly and able to make different maps to input on the surface of the objects within my scene. With me learning how to make my own textures and learning more in depth of modeling; I continued to refine what I had learned and was able to continue to finish things more efficient and faster and when something had me question my knowledge of the program I was able to overcome it. I was able to apply my knowledge from previous projects into current projects with my being able to make my own textures for my characters I build within my 3DS Max scenes. 

     With me learning many things about 3DS Max this year I was able to achieve my goal of wanting to learn how to make my own models. Within the third and fourth quarter we extrapolated on our knowledge of animation. With us learning how to animate then animating our own character within the fourth quarter. For our final project within the fourth quarter we were supposed to combine all of our tools that we have learned throughout the year. With us needing to model, texture, and animate our own character and submit for our project. 

     My final project I made a character that depicted light and animated as so; with me creating, texturing, and animating my own character concept I made sure to take time to figure out what I was going to be able to make and submit for this final project. This project took the entirety of the rest of the fourth quarter ending off the year. This year has showed me how to overcome challenges that might inhibit you from completing a task and also learning how to do new things and to not take time for granted since it will fly as you look in the past for something that has already happened.
