I am John Roach and I took interest in 3D Modeling and Animation originally since I wanted to make games in my free time. I would soon become very good at 3D Modeling and Animation which fueled me to take Game Art & Design in order to continue with my newfound passion of working within the 3D online workspace. Throughout taking both courses of 3D Modeling & Animation along with Game Art & Design I learned various new things about myself along with how to manipulate and create 3D objects. Within Game Art & Design I was able to learn how to code in blueprints to create what was needed to make my own game within the Unreal Engine. Learning things about myself helped me grow as a person with me being able to overcome challenges that I faced within Game Art & Design without asking for outside help every single time. Though I am still working on that skill of problem-solving in depth and complicated problems that plague me within Unreal. Skills I attained over the years of me being within 3D Modeling & Animation and Game Art & Design is learning how to code in blueprints, manipulate 3D objects and splines within 3DS Max, creation of actors within Unreal that have their own function code and sound, and learning how to create sound from scratch within Unreal and importing sounds effectively within my game. My inspiration is still the same with me still wanting to be within the space of game creation and coding which is the exact reason I continued to take Game Art & Design after the 3D Modeling & Animation course was finished. Future goals I have is being able to create my own functioning game and being able to code in various languages with coding and engineering being a key component within my family.
