2018

I wrote one original comic for the folder, sleep deprived at 2 in the morning. Ben is the introduction of a major theme in my next comic, that of the meaningless wanderer, loosely based of a piece of food and devoid of any other drive. If I wanted to sound any more narcissistic than I already do I'd say that Ben reflects myself at that time, an empty shell of carbohydrates and fibre going through the motions, living just for the sake of it. But I won't.

Panootle

2018 was also the year I created Panootle. I drew a lot of little doodles in the margins of my schoolbooks and wrote the first two parts by the end of the year

I spent a lot of time in this sketchbook in 2018, writing hourly comics and planning a cartoon about birds and the bird military or something.
