The first drawing of Marblehead I did is panel one of this comic. The design was based off a character some other kids designed called super ninja, which in turn was based off Steve from Minecraft.
I began to establish a format, taking the lesson idea from a former comic I had made in second grade called 'Spyz', the recurring explosions and swearing at the end of every comic was an even less subtle take on the Zoowee Mama formula.
Here we meet Fred, as of yet he has no name. He is nothing.
The black Marblehead bringing fuel to his master makes me uncomfortable and I don't know what I was thinking, I think, I hope I saw it on the Simpsons.
Oh no, you thought he'd just be eaten by the lion. Consider your expectations subverted
Brilliant tension here. The reader can see what's happening from the very beginning, the dread sets in as our hero makes every wrong move leading up, ultimately to an anticlimax as the mine goes off without popping his head off. Subverted again bitch!
A kid in class made a Marblehead character. I called it a Dorito he told me that no, in fact it was not, and much laughter was had.
Introducing super Marbles, the new direction for Marblehead going forwards. This scene follows not only from the previous comic, but from every one of them, revealing that the Evil Doctor not Dorito has been there from the start, toying with our hero from the shadows. Blowing him up at every turn.
I could have just left it but I had to make one more. I didn't like it at the time and I don't like it now.
GOD FUCKING DAMN IT!!
