Español: La Pirámide de Kukulkan, en La Chichén Itzá, fue una creación de mayas, hace cerca de 1000 años. Fue antes de la colonización española. Poco dice 35 A.D. y otros lugares dicen 455 cuando la ciudad fue creada. Está en la Península de Yucatán en México.

Más de tres mil turistas visitan Chichen Itza cada día. 

También, la pirámide representa ciclos astronómicos. Cada primavera y otoño, hay un efecto de sombra que parece una serpiente. La causa son los equinoccios. Si miras desde elpie de la pirámide, vas a ver la cabeza de una serpiente en roca. En adición a rituales religiosos, es posible que haga una estructura para un calendario y ciclas agriculturas.

English: The Pyramid of Kukulkan, at Chichen Itza, was a Mayan creation from around 1000 years ago. It was before spanish colonization. Some say 35 A.D., and other places say 455 A.D., when the city was created. It is on the Yucatán Peninsula in Mexico.
