Notice:
When you are speaking Chinese, there are five different tones. First tone, 妈-mā (mom), like singing "Ahhh". Second tone, 麻-má (hemp), like asking "What?". Third tone, 马-mǎ (horse), like saying "Well..". Forth tone, 骂-mà (to scold), like saying "No!". And the last tone, neutral tone, 吗-ma (a question particle).

The Spring Fesitval, which is also known as Chinese New Year or Lunar New Year, is one of the most celebrated and important traditional holidays in China and other Sinophone communities. It marks the beginning of the new year on the lunar calendar. Key traditions of the Spring Festival include elders handing out red envelopes to the children, family meals, and firecrackers.
The "Spring Festival Gala" is an annual television program that is broadcast live every Lunar New Year's Eve and is watched by practically everyone in China, as well as people around the world.
