We have shared our solution with our school, various experts, and people who might benefit from our solution. We have gotten a wide range of feedback, which we used to improve our solution.
We split into 3 groups and separately presented a shortened version of our presentation. Our classmates were both really interested and impressed with our idea, and we received a variety of feedback we used to improve our idea.
Another way we reached out to our peers and teachers was through our school newspaper, the Zion Noiz. Since many of us on the robotics team also wrote for the school newspaper, we decided to write a few articles about the robotics team and our project idea.
We emailed many organizations and people we thought could benefit from our solution or who could help refine the idea, including the science center, CSA (Canadian Space Agency), NASA (National Aeronautics and Space Administration), and PEO (Professional Engineers of Ontario).
Reply from the Professional Engineers of Ontario. Through PEO, we were able to reach out to Dr. Robert Thirsk, the Canadian that has logged the most hours in space, as well as the longest continuous spaceflight by a Canadian.
We also sent various emails to NASA and professional engineers.
We also sent an email to Professor Mark Wilson and his research students.
