SAE has challenged me in a lot of ways. Studying here has made me learn new skills and improve on old ones.
I was the most successful in my Image Making module but this is due to already having the skills such as fine art.
I have struggled the most in the Design Process & Production module and this was mainly to do with the composition, hierarchy and aesthetics of the deliverables. It improved a little as I saw examples of my peers’ work but after learning from my mistakes in this module I have aimed and been improving in the successive modules afterwards.
I began asking for help and feedback more often and this led to improvements that were seen in the User Centred Design module although it did not have print deliverables. I was practising and improving in my skills of using Adobe applications.
Now, I research online or ask my tutor and peers for help which has helped greatly. In earlier modules, I was reluctant to ask for help as I wanted to learn and improve by myself but now I ask for help so that I will have a professional quality and standard of work.
