On this frugal day of Macy’s One Day Sale in the year of 2042, we, the undersigned, do establish the Utopia of Clearance Section at Macy’s and declare its structure and features to be as follows.

The red represents Macy's love for sales, and the white represents the peaceful nature of the Clearance section. The black shows the solidity in our society that Macy's gives people. Furthermore, the single star is representative of freedom to be who one is as an individual, an integral aspect of Macy's values.

Macy's was founded on the ideals of individuality and respect of everyone's unique personalities. Macy's are well known for having phenomenal fragrances, and our motto connects Macy's specialty to Macy's values.

It’s ill, it’s real, you know we got the deals,
Price tags and we got the right kind of sales.
Store’s Cold, you’ll hope, we might sell clothes,
We’re always self-aware, that we’ll never sell a broach. (They’re ugly.)
Our anthem is similar to the songs commonly played within Macy's stores. The anthem describes the day-to-day ongoings and experiences one goes through while shopping in our stores.
Official Currency: Clearance Coins
Although majority of transactions are done online, through the app, coins do remain in circulation for smaller transactions and convenience. Macy's Clearance section puts an emphasis on online transactions to reduce their carbon footprint. Additionally, Clearance Coins are gold plated metal and made from recycled hangers as they take part in corporate social responsibility.
